Responsible for:

Carry out routine servicing, corrective maintenance and minor repairs to customers’ escalators.

Engineer will be based in South West/ West London, M4 Corridor.

Person Specification:

  • NVQ 3 Qualified Escalator.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A full driving license is essential.
  • Must be willing to travel and participate in a call-out rota.

In addition to the above, the post-holder will also be required to undertake additional duties as appropriate to the nature and level of the role.

Trainee Lift Maintenance Engineer | South West Regional Office

 

Overall Function:

Undertake duties as requested by the Lead Engineer and Line Manager in order to efficiently assist a Repair Engineer and become competent at effectively maintaining and repairing lifts within a defined geographical area.

Main Duties:

• Undertake repair and maintenance duties as directed by the Lead Engineer.
• To become proficient in the maintenance and repair of all types of goods, passenger and service lifts.
• Assist with completing maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed Service Contracts
• Once trained and the Regional Manager deems it appropriate, actively participate in an on-call rota within the defined geographical area.
• Conform to and utilise best practice within Health and Safety at all times.
• To work with various Lead Engineers as and when directed.
• To liaise with customers as and when directed by the Lead Engineer.

Person Specification:

• Willingness to follow instruction and take direction from the Lead Engineer to ensure safe working practice.
• Customer focused with the ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Self-motivated to study NVQ Level 3 (mandatory training) and other industry specific qualifications.
• Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel.

Qualifications/Experience:

Previous mechanical/electrical experience and/or a relevant engineering or electrical qualification desirable.

In addition to the above, the post-holder will also be required to undertake additional duties as appropriate to the nature and level of the role.

Technical Support Engineer | South West Regional Office

Technical Support Engineer, based from the South West Regional Office

We require an experienced time served NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualified technical support engineer with excellent leadership, communication skills and commercial focus in support of the South West regional office

The role will include;

  • Trouble shooting on problematic lifts
  • Testing of modernisations
  • Completing technical repairs as well as the routine call-outs and lift maintenance.
  • Liaise with management, engineers and customers on a day-to-day basis, providing support with technical queries as required

Candidates should;

  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be self-motivated and will be required to travel and participate in an out of hours call-out rota
  • Possess the relevant engineering and/or electrical/mechanical qualification
  • Have full driving licence

The successful candidate will report to the management team at the South West regional office and will work throughout the region.
