Pickerings Lifts staff across the country all made a fantastic contribution to the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, by raising £680 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We joined the nation by holding coffee mornings at our Head Office and at our Regional Offices.
A big thank you to all our fabulous staff and star bakers who turned on their ovens to help raise funds by baking, dressing down in green for £1 and taking part in Macmillan-themed quizzes, blind-cards and donating so generously.
Warren Griffin – Customer Support Manager at Pickerings Lifts Manchester Office said “We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee morning, everybody got in to the spirit of things. We enjoyed flavoured coffees, bacon sandwiches and of course cakes. We had the choice of home-made bakes by Jane and Julie – our star bakers! The choices of cakes they provided were a scrumptious biscoff cheesecake, lovely white chocolate and raspberry brownies, mince pies, cherry scones and banana bread.
Macmillan continue to work to improve the lives of people living with cancer and we are happy to catch up with our colleagues with a brew, and raise money for such a great cause.”
Macmillan Cancer Support know how a cancer diagnosis can affect everything. So they provide the best help for you. From advice about money and work, to someone who’ll listen if you just want to talk.
As part of our fundraising efforts, charity events are held at Head Office in Stockton-On-Tees and at each of our Regional Offices frequently throughout the year.
