This Easter we supported several good causes by donating chocolate eggs regionally and holding a charity tombola at Head Office for Cancer Research UK.
Our South Wales team donated 76 chocolate eggs to Cardiff Council’s Child Health & Disability Team to be distributed to service users across Cardiff, putting smiles on children’s faces at Easter.
Our North West office kindly donated 60 Easter eggs to Springwood Primary School ahead of their Easter bonnet parade. The school in Salford supports children with special educational needs.
We hop(!) they had a wonderful Easter!
Our Midlands team donated vital supplies to Friends of Isaac Food Bank; including food, toiletries, nappies and 50 Easter Eggs.
12-year-old Isaac set up the Food Bank in Redditch in 2020 to support those experiencing food insecurity. When the team heard Isaac’s story they were really keen to support, and colleagues were quick to bring donations in.
Senior Administrator Rachel dropped their first delivery off alongside Regional Manager Andrew, declaring “It is very rewarding to help a local charity like this.”
We held an Easter tombola at our Head Office on 31st March, bringing our total raised for Cancer Research UK to over £2,000 – eggcellent!
Over 50 eggs were won, as well as some free games of bowling thanks to Hollywood Bowl, raising £365 on the day.
Chick out all the fun we had…
