Repair Sales Co-Ordinator
Pickerings Lifts is a national, well established, privately owned, independent, leading lift specialist with 170 years’ experience. Due to continued success and growth, we require a Repair Sales Co-Ordinator, with the view to move up to management level, to operate out of our East Anglia Office.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver an efficient lift repair service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to manage minor and major repairs from initial site survey through to completion and handover.
Main Duties:
- Quotation Management: Generate and maximize client quotations from service visits, callouts, and insurance reports.
- Client Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on client quotes, ensuring customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Process orders using the in-house maintenance system, including managing stage payments.
- Parts Procurement: Order parts within budget and ensure timely delivery to meet project deadlines.
- Breakdown Support: Assist with customer breakdown calls, coordinating effectively with Engineers for swift resolution.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties to support smooth operational workflow.
Person specification:
- High-Volume Communication Handling: Proven experience managing large volumes of internal and external communication efficiently.
- Professional Communication Skills: Confident and professional communication style, demonstrating proficiency in Outlook.
- Telephone Etiquette: Maintain a professional and confident telephone manner, ensuring clear and effective interactions.
- Administrative & Filing Systems: Experience in creating and maintaining filing systems and other office administration processes.
- Microsoft Word Proficiency: Confident in using Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting.
- Quotation Experience: Previous experience preparing quotes for insurance reports.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the lift industry and equipment is essential
- Organisational & Time Management Skills: Strong ability to plan and manage workload using initiative to meet deadlines.
- Team Collaboration & Instruction Following: Ability to work effectively within a team while following instructions as required.
