We are looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at the London South Regional Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of lift types and controller manufacturers, demonstrating strong fault-finding ability while having a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Main Duties:
- Lift Repairs: Undertake a range of repair duties, from minor fixes to full lift upgrades including controller changes & carry out modernisations to existing passenger / goods lifts.
- Maintenance & Fault Resolution: Carry out maintenance and repair work on all types of goods, passenger, and service lifts to ensure operational reliability and safety.
- Defect Reporting: Identify and report service or repair needs and equipment defects, supporting continuous improvement in lift safety and performance.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with Field Engineers to assist with supplementary lift testing where required.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow Health & Safety regulations and company procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers and Trainee Engineers, contributing to effective team-based problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate professionally with customers on-site as needed, maintaining a high standard of service and support.
Person specification:
- Technical Qualifications: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or higher (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships.
- Systems Proficiency: Confident in using handheld devices and digital service management systems for job reporting and communication.
- Organisational Skills: Well-organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload effectively.
- Training & Development: Willing to participate in ongoing company training and professional development opportunities.
- Driving Licence & Flexibility: Holds a full, clean UK driving licence and is willing to travel as required for the role.
