Reporting to: H.R Manager
The HR and Recruitment Co-ordinator will bring valuable experience gained from an HR and or recruitment environment to provide an efficient and proactive HR recruitment service, through coordinating a range of recruitment activities to ensure the timely hiring and onboarding of new employees.
Main Duties are but not limited to:
· Identify the most appropriate and fit for purpose recruitment advertising medium to time and budget and in collaboration with the hiring manager design appropriately worded job descriptions and adverts.
· Update internal databases timely to accurately reflect the hiring status of vacancies.
· Proactively monitor, review and report on recruitment campaigns. and in collaboration with the HR Manager review job advertising budgets.
· Ensure compliance with the approvals process for appointment of new starters.
· Ensure the daily monitoring of applicants from direct sourced candidates and select candidates against job description liaising with hiring manager for further review and selection.
· Co-ordinate and administer timely interview arrangements, conduct interviews with the hiring manager and ensure eligibility to work checks are conducted.
· Supporting the arrangement of work experience and attend careers fairs on an ad hoc basis.
· Advise on the appropriateness of selection tests and administer where necessary.
· Onboarding
· Deliver new starter induction presentations face to face and via Teams in line with the HR new starter induction schedule; co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of the Company’s new starter induction process.
· Liaise with the HR Assistant to ensure the timely production of new starter induction packs.
· Regularly review and update the HR presentation and induction packs to ensure it is relevant, accurate and current.
· Preparation of contracts of employment, and recruitment related correspondence.
· Respond to routine HR and recruitment related queries.
· Assist the HR Manager with HR related activities as directed.
· Data input and maintain the real time employee reporting.
· Ensure the probationary period review process is completed timely by Line Managers, providing advice to Line Managers.
· Conduct exit interviews and record and report on leaver data.
· Maintain confidentiality at all times.
· Proven and extensive administration experience from working in an HR, recruitment or from a people orientated administrative role is essential.
· Assoc. CIPD or working towards is desirable.
· Fully conversant with Office 365.
· Experience of working with HR infosystems.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Professional telephone manner and the ability to converse with Senior Managers and Directors alike demonstrated by previous experience.
In addition to the above, the post-holder will also be required to undertake additional duties as appropriate to the nature and level of the role.
