Assistant Lift Installation Engineer

We are looking for an Assistant Lift Installation Engineer to join our team, covering installations across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties:
- Installation Support: Assist the Installation Engineer with the installation of various lift types including traction & hydraulic passenger and goods lifts
- Mechanical & Electrical Tasks: Support the Installation Engineers with the installation of mechanical and electrical works including the safe use of hand and powered tools.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Follow technical drawings accurately under the supervision of the Lead Installation Engineer to support efficient installation.
- Instruction Compliance: Execute day-to-day tasks as directed by the Lead Installation Engineer, ensuring timely and effective support on-site.
- On-Site Liaison: Work collaboratively with the Installation Engineer and maintain effective communication with the customer's site-based team and third-party contractors, as instructed by the Lead Installation Engineer.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and best practices, always maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Person specification:
- Industry or Trade Experience: Ideally has experience in the lift industry or a related mechanical/electrical trade, with familiarity working on construction sites.
- Qualifications & Training: A mechanical or electrical qualification is advantageous but not essential, with full training (including NVQ Level 3) available.
- Certifications: Possession of a valid CSCS card is preferred however training will be provided to obtain this if required.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites.
- Flexibility & Travel: Willing to travel and stay away from home with reasonable notice; accommodation and reasonable expenses are provided where required.
