Responsible for:
The identification, development, and attainment of Lift Modernisation Sales in London and the South East of England, in line with Pickerings modernisation strategy.
Main Duties:
- To conduct technical surveys of existing lift installations and produce proposals and tenders for the modernisation of existing lift equipment.
- To schedule and prioritise personal sales activities and customer liaison to achieve the agreed business and individual sales target.
- To record and monitor all sales activities and updates through Pickerings CRM system.
- To work closely with project and commercial teams to achieve targets and objectives.
- To plan and conduct sales activities to agreed volumes, values, and time scales.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate should:
- demonstrate strong technical knowledge of lifts, lift standards, equipment suppliers and their modernisation solutions.
- demonstrate previous sales experience within the lift industry.
- demonstrate previous experience of composing tenders and comprehensive proposals.
- have a full driving license and the flexibility to travel throughout the area of responsibility.
- be self-motivated, target driven, effective negotiator, and a competent communicator.
- have effective I.T. and computing skills.
