Our customers know they can trust us thanks to our open and honest approach at all times.
Pickerings Lifts and their network of locally-based suppliers are able to supply and install a wide range of disability hoist products to help make movement easier.
Hoists can be used to safely move disabled and older people who find it difficult to move independently, in order to prevent injury to both patient and carer.
The wide range of disability hoists we supply and install can be found in private homes, hospitals, care homes and nursing homes across the UK. Bariatric hoists are also available.
Bath hoists are used to help people get in and out of the bath as easily and safely as possible, without having to resort to an expensive bath upgrade.
Ceiling hoists are on fixed tracks that are used to lift a person from one place to another, for example, from a wheelchair to a chair or a toilet. Using a ceiling hoist allows older and disabled people to move more independently and use less space than a mobile hoist.
Mobile hoists are also used to lift a person from one place to another, but instead of running along permanently fixed tracks like a ceiling hoist, they can be moved from one place to another for additional flexibility.
