Loading Systems Projects Engineer
We are looking for a Loading Systems Projects Engineer to join our team in our Loading Systems Projects department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties:
- Installation & Removal Works: Install and remove a wide range of Loading Systems products, including sectional doors, roller shutters, high-speed doors, dock levellers, load houses, scissor lifts, vehicle restraints, control panels, dock seals and shelters, traffic lights, wheel guides, buffers, and associated ancillary equipment.
- Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic Works: Carry out hydraulic, electrical installation, and fabrication activities in line with project specifications and safety standards.
- Team & Independent Working: Work effectively both independently and as part of a two- or three-person installation team, adapting to site requirements.
- Service Division Support: Provide support to the Service division when required, assisting with planned repairs, servicing, and occasional breakdown attendance.
- Site Surveys & Specifications: Assist with site surveys for pricing and specification purposes prior to order placement, ensuring accurate scoping of works.
- National Travel: Undertake working away from home as required to support installation projects nationwide.
- Working Arrangements: This role does not include participation in a call-out rota.
Person Specification:
- Industry Experience: Proven background in Loading Systems with experience in installation and modernisation works across a range of equipment.
- Technical Qualifications: Electrical and welding qualifications are preferred, with relevant CSCS, NVQ, IPAF, PASMA, and forklift truck certifications considered advantageous.
- Workmanship & Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to deliver a high standard of workmanship while working under minimal supervision.
- Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK driving licence, as a company van will be provided for this role.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationwide and remain site-based for the duration of projects, including frequent overnight stays, as required.
