Responsible for:

Oversee day to day running of repair team in order to deliver an efficient and effective lift repair service to clients.


Main duties:

  • Process orders, including control of stage payments
  • Carry out site inspections including scope of work, details of specifications, identification of parts required and programming of all works
  • Order parts to budget and ensure delivery to timescale Maintain stock control
  • Liaise with customers to ensure client satisfaction and manage customer expectations
  • Supervise a team of engineers, labourers and subcontractors

Overview:

We are looking to recruit a Repairs Manager to work between our Newcastle Regional Office (NE8 3HU) and Stockton on Tees (TS20 2AQ) to deliver an efficient lift repair service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage minor and major repairs from initial site survey through to completion and handover.

Lift industry experience is preferred however training would be provided for any successful applicant with a relevant engineering background.

Main duties:

  • Generate repair quotations following PPM visits and call-outs
  • Identify and order any parts required

Person specification:

Service route will be Midlands based and would focus on: – Gloucestershire & Herefordshire/Oxfordshire or Birmingham and surrounds.

Responsible for:

Carrying out routine servicing, corrective maintenance and minor repairs to clients’ lifts.


Main duties:

  • Service & Minor Repairs to lifts
  • Route will cover Gloucestershire & Herefordshire/Oxfordshire or Birmingham and surrounds.
  • Night call-out as per rota requirements
  • Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated
  • Will be required to travel and participate in an out of hours call out rota
  • To provide lift services and call outs as required in addition to some minor repairs
  • To carry out call-out duties as part of the call out rota

Person specification:

  • Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline
  • Provide support for other engineers or cover as and when required
  • Be self-motivated, have great customer service skills and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  • Some computer knowledge – as you will be required to use customer log on systems and company tablets
