The football table cloth was laid out ready in the office. Followed by a football style bacon bun before they kicked off their Football Themed Indoor Charity Shoot Out – the team were busy scoring goals and then nibbling donuts but not licking their lips, tackling a football quiz and fun footy blind card, all to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which needs to raise £12,000 per day to operate its two helicopters. By securing these funds daily required, relying on kind donations, it is possible to keep both of their Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopters maintained, in good order and in the air.
As a rapid response air ambulance service, the Charity serves a population of approximately 5 million people across 4 million acres.
Their two Air Ambulances operate from The Nostell Priory Estate near Wakefield and from RAF Topcliffe near Thirsk. Together in harmony and partnership both Air Ambulances cover the whole of the region helping injured people when called upon, for rapid transfer to hospital. Thus saving many lives.
Our Leeds office staff continue to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service which is close to their hearts. Well done team.
