Pickerings Lifts staff got together to eat lots of tasty food and catch up with each other as part of the Big Lunch initiative.
The Big Lunch, a joint project by the Eden Project and the National Lottery, started in 2009 and takes place in June each year. The initiative encourages friends, neighbours and work colleagues to come together to share a meal and enjoy each other’s company.
Staff across the country took part this year, bringing in everything from cakes to crisps and sausage rolls to samosas and enjoying a hamper of seasonal fruit, provided by Pickerings Lifts.
Our staff are star bakers, baking frequently for a wide range of charitable causes including Crohn’s and Colitis and Macmillan Cancer Research.
