We are pleased to announce a new senior appointment to our Leadership Team.
Promoted from within the business, our former Regional Manager, Gary Rains, has now been appointed as Service Sales and Marketing Director
Gary will be responsible for the Service Sales and Marketing Teams based throughout the country, focusing on growing opportunities and securing service contracts within our Lifts, Loading Systems and Escalator business units, as well as growing brand awareness.
Gary began his career as a Lift Engineer Apprentice with Otis, later becoming an Area Manager for ThyssenKrupp. Gary joined Pickerings Lifts in February 2003, as a Customer Support Manager, later progressing to Regional Manager for London and the South East regions. Gary has a wealth of industry understanding, bringing to the role over thirty years of knowledge and operational experience.
Speaking about his appointment, Gary said “I’m looking forward to leading and operating within a different sector of our business. Enhancing our existing portfolio, across all of our business streams whilst promoting our excellent levels of customer service, developing and progressing our Service Sales and Marketing offering, in these ever-changing markets.”
